Audio/Data Master SPECS

Your master must be under 80 minutes of audio or 700 MB Data

We highly recommend that you make a copy for yourself.

The audio sampling rate for your master should be 44.1KHz. This is the industry standard for recording CDs.

When recording audio, stay out of the red indicator lights to avoid distortion.

We reproduce your content exactly as we receive it. If there are skips or pops in your audio master, these will be faithfully reproduced. If you want your CD to autorun but fail to place the autorun at the root level, your file structure will be reproduced as received. No returns will be accepted if there is no manufacturing defect and your duplicated CDs are identical in content to your master or uploaded data/audio. Please test your master carefully before mailing it in to us.

Please make sure that you do not scratch or otherwise damage your master before mailing it in to us. Also, please package your master securely. We cannot be held liable if your master is scratched or damaged in transit.

Layout, Files and Typesetting SPECS

All Jobs are completed as quickly as possible and on a first come first serve bases. Rush jobs will be charged extra and prior arrangements must be made for jobs requiring overtime services.

Work cannot begin on a CDX - design job until the customer has provided everything necessary to complete the job. If delays occur outside of the control of CDX, the deadline will be adjusted accordingly and the customer will be notified.

Files will be accepted in Photoshop 6 only. Disks submitted to CDX should include Photoshop psd document with layers intact. If this is not available we will except .jpg, .tif, .gif, photoshop 2.0, .BMP, photoshop PDF.

Media must be 100 MB zip disk or CD-ROM

Computer disk are vulnerable to heat, radiation, magnetic fields, etc. CDX is not responsible for any loss data. Please make adequate back-up copies of all data before sending a disk to CDX.

All fonts used on a job (printer and screen) must be supplied on disk. Please do not include fonts that have no bearing on the job to be printed.

Do not include files that has no bearing on the job to be printed. This will eliminate confusion with multiple files. When sending multiple jobs to CDX, each job and its support files should be in a separate folder.

A Hardcopy must accompany each file to be printed.

If hardcopy cannot be provided, a copy will be printed at $10 per file and will be billed. Work will not continue until the copies are approved by the customer.

A list of fonts and images used should be included. Placement and names of images should be included in the hardcopy provided.

All jobs supplied in disk will be output as is unless adjustments (color work, trapping, etc.) are requested by the customer in advance. Minor adjustments on disk will be charged at the rate of $35 per hour with a minimum charge of one hour.
